Prices abroad are starting to look a little better. Just checked the papers today and the British pound is $1.40, compared to over $2.00 in the fall of 2007 through the fall of 2008---when our daughter and son-in-law were living in England. Hasn't been this low since the summer of 2001.
The euro is $1.29, high for those of us who remember it hitting $.85 in 2000, but a big drop from the 2008 highs of $1.59. Will the pound and the euro soon be on par with one another?
